Born in Albuquerque and raised in a family of Mexican regional musicians, Alejandro Sanchez, better known as Chezile, has experienced a meteoric rise over the past two years.

His 2023 psych-pop single “Beanie” exploded on TikTok, earning more than 1.6 million monthly listeners in under two months and transforming his life almost overnight.

Now based in San Diego, the multi-instrumentalist has continued to carve out a distinctive sound that blends dreamy, reverberated guitar with a sentimental strain of indie rock. His music creates a hazy, introspective world that has resonated deeply with listeners online and beyond.
