Join us on our special James Joyce Birthday walking tour with historian Eamon Delaney, hosted by The Five Lamps Arts Festival, this special walking tour will take you around the Mountjoy Square area, exploring the childhood neighbourhood of Joyce and how his early imagination was shaped here
We'll make stops at three different houses that Joyce lived in. You’ll also visit the evocative Araby House on North Richmond Street, the setting for his famous romantic short story from his collection Dubliners.
The tour will also discuss Ulysses and the appearance of this area in Joyce's great novel. This will be an enjoyable and entertaining hour and a half, filled with many fascinating stories and readings throughout.
